During this semester Spanish was introduced through technology which was very effective. The use of the computer made it a bit easier for me to get use to this new subject. Topics covered were time, days of the week, mounts of the year, objects in the house, weather, greetings, numbers, verbs and alphabet. The usage of the computer made this course more interesting and it saved classroom time, in that it wasn’t necessary to be in the class to be learn, by using the computer I was able to learn on my own time. My first thought about this course is that it would have been very complicated and very boring. My current feelings about this course has change for the better. I find that Spanish is now interesting and fun. The usage of the computer was responsible for this change. I liked the availability of information on the internet. The pop up book and poppet showed how much fun Spanish can really be, and how a teacher can make Spanish fun for the children. We should be given applied time because having to submit so many assignments leaves little time for the completion of other assignments.
